House of Hope Support
One of the prison-related outreach programs supported by UCCC is The House of Hope of Alachua County. The House of Hope is a volunteer driven, inter-denominational, not-for-profit, faith-based support program for Christians recently released from incarceration. One evening per month, UCCC members provide dinner for the residents in the men's facility, and UCCC members provide transportation for House of Hope residents to worship and Bible studies.
House of Hope provides food, shelter, employment opportunities, life-skills training, and a short term Christian home for recently-released inmates.
