They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” — Acts 2:42 (NIV)

IMG_8635University City church of Christ has an active Small Group Ministry in which members meet once or twice per month on Sunday evenings in member’s homes or other convenient locations. They are modeled on the concept of First Century Christianity as cited in Acts 2:42. We believe small groups offer an excellent opportunity for individual members to connect in a biblical way with other Christians. A small group affords healthy fellowship in a community marked by Christian love and unity. Small groups can help your personal growth as a Christian, and help minister to our larger community.

It’s easy to get lost in a crowd, even though you may be surrounded by hundreds of worshippers on any given Sunday. That’s where UCCC’s Small Group Ministry can help. We want everyone to have the opportunity to be known and cared for and to find their niche. People grow faster spiritually in a caring, interactive group where they can feel free to ask questions and sense the support of others.

Our small groups adapt to the needs and interests of their members, but in general they study the Bible or a Bible lesson, pray, sing, and fellowship. Some share a simple meal.

Do you want to grow in prayer, Bible study, and service to others? Do you want to connect more deeply with other Christians? Are you looking for a place to grow in Christian focus and influence? If so, the UCCC’s Small Group ministry is for you! If you’d like to join a UCCC Small Group, call us at 352-372-4911.
