Frequently Asked Questions

We know visiting a new church can be awkward and uncomfortable. You might be unsure about our beliefs, times, or maybe our dress code (we don’t really have one… just wear something.) Below you’ll find answers to most questions you might have about UCCC.

We have Sunday Bible Classes at 9:30 a.m. and our Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.

We also have a Sunday evening service at 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday evening Bible studies at 7:00 p.m.

Our Sunday mornings are a special time of fellowship with each other and worship. Don’t be worried about finding a class or a place to sit in the worship service. We have greeters who want to welcome you and answer any questions you might have.

The Unviersity City Church of Christ usually has about 350 people on a typical Sunday.

Clothes! We have people in jeans and a t-shirt, business casual, and even a few suits. We are much less concerned with what you wear than with you simply coming and feeling comfortable and welcome!

We take communion every Sunday morning to remember the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. This special meal not only helps us reflect on Christ but also expresses our unity as believers. In the post-COVID environment, we do not currently pass communion trays. Individually prepackaged communion packs are available in the foyer when you walk in.
